Content Standards and Refund Policy · version 2026-10-11-sticker-spots-v1
By paying, you are buying display space on the wrap. Your logo sits where you placed it, at the size you picked. You are not buying the Cyberbeast, any part of it, the title, equity, a share, or any ownership interest. The truck belongs to Leka (or will, when he buys it). It does not belong to you.
Logos can overlap the same patch of wrap. To take that space, someone has to bid strictly more than you paid. If they do, your logo comes off and you get refunded, minus Stripe's processing fee. If they bid the same or less, they are rejected.
Owner placement. Detelio Auto Spa (shown on the site as detElio) is Leka's own business. It has committed $500 toward buying the truck and is listed as a backer. Its commitment is made directly, not through checkout, so no Stripe charge, processing fee, or refund applies to it. That $500 is included in Raised and counts toward the $122,781 book, even if its logo is outbid. Its logo on the driver's door can be outbid like any other logo: someone who bids strictly more than $500 for that space takes it, and the Detelio logo comes off. If the book is missed, every paid bid is still refunded minus Stripe's processing fee, as described above, and Detelio's $500 is not used.
Logos do not go on the license plate, glass, light-bar glass, wheels, tires, brakes, roof glass, mirrors, or interior. Everywhere else on the wrap is fair game, except the 12 early-backer sticker spots (2 on the front bumper corners, 4 on the rear bumper, and 6 on the rear side panels between the rear wheels and the rear corners), which are reserved for early-backer stickers and are not open to wrap bids. Unlimited logos, as long as they do not overlap.
The book is $122,781. Raised is the sum of paid placements plus Detelio Auto Spa's $500 commitment (see Owner placement), and can go over the book. If the book is missed — the truck is never bought, never wrapped, never put on the road — every paid bid is refunded, minus Stripe's processing fee.
Once launched, bidding runs exactly 45 days — 45 × 24 hours from the owner-selected start, America/Chicago. Hitting the $122,781 book early does not close bidding. If the goal is missed at cutoff, every paid bid is refunded, minus Stripe's processing fee. The truck is purchased after a funded close.
Refunds and processing fees
When you get a refund — miss-the-book, war-loss (outbid), a spot taken by someone else while you were checking out, Content Approval refunds that pay you back, or any other refund Leka approves by hand — you get back what we received for your payment after Stripe's processing fee. Stripe keeps its fee. We do not return that portion. The one exception is a refund caused by an error on our side, such as a payment that doesn't match the spot you reserved or a logo we lost after you paid: those are refunded in full, including Stripe's fee. There are no other automatic refunds unless Leka approves one.
Leka will try to keep the wrap in good shape. He does not guarantee how long a logo lasts, how it looks, or that it will not get damaged. He is not liable for road, weather, vandalism, wrecks, chips, fading, theft, or ordinary wear. Once your logo is installed, you have paid for the space, not for a guaranteed look or lifespan.
Content Approval and Removal
Your purchase reserves one display slot on the truck for an approved mark. It does not guarantee that any particular image, message, or design will be accepted.
Leka may reject a proposed mark if, in his reasonable and good-faith judgment, it is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, promotes hatred or violence, contains a hate symbol, infringes another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights, creates a safety concern, or is otherwise materially inconsistent with these Content Standards.
If Leka rejects a mark before installation, the purchaser may submit one replacement mark within 5 business days.
Business days means Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays, America/Chicago.
If the purchaser does not submit an acceptable replacement, the following refund rules apply:
- If the rejected mark clearly violated these Content Standards, the slot fee is nonrefundable.
- If the mark was rejected for another reason, the slot fee will be refunded, minus Stripe's processing fee.
Leka may remove a mark after installation if he reasonably and in good faith determines that it violates these Content Standards, becomes unlawful or unsafe to display, or the purchaser did not have the necessary rights or permission to use it. No refund is owed when removal results from the purchaser’s violation, misrepresentation, or failure to obtain the necessary rights.
If Leka removes an approved mark for a reason not caused by the purchaser, the purchaser will receive a prorated refund, minus Stripe's processing fee, for the unused portion of the agreed display period.
Image rights
By submitting a mark, you represent that you own it or have all permissions necessary for Leka to reproduce, install, display, photograph, film, and promote it in connection with the truck. You grant Leka a nonexclusive license to use the mark for those purposes. You are responsible for claims resulting from material you submitted without the necessary rights or permissions.
Early-Backer Stickers
An early-backer sticker buys one sticker spot on the truck at the price shown at checkout. Like every placement, it is display space only. You are not buying the truck, any part of it, the title, equity, or any ownership interest.
Pay now, send your logo later. Send your logo within 14 days after you pay, or before bidding closes, whichever is later. If we don't have it by then, we will email you once, and you will have 5 more business days to send it. If no logo arrives by the end of those 5 business days, your sticker spot lapses and the sticker fee is not refunded. One exception: if the goal is missed, you still get the goal-missed refund described below.
Late logos go through the same review. A logo sent after checkout follows the same Content Approval and Removal rules as any other mark. If Leka rejects it, you have 5 business days from the rejection notice to send one replacement, even if that runs past your logo deadline. The same refund rules apply.
If the goal is missed, everyone is refunded. If the $122,781 book is missed, every early-backer sticker is refunded minus Stripe's processing fee, whether or not you sent a logo.
Stickers can't be outbid. Stickers go in the 12 early-backer spots: 2 on the front bumper corners, 4 on the rear bumper, and 6 on the rear side panels between the rear wheels and the rear corners. These spots are separate from the bidding wrap. A sticker can't be outbid, overlapped, or bumped by a wrap bid, so the war-loss refund never applies to stickers.
Privacy and analytics
This site sets three cookies of its own. bmc_utm remembers the link tags that brought you here (utm source, medium, campaign, term, and content, or a ref tag, which we save as the source). If you later arrive from a link with a different source, the new tags replace the old ones. It lasts 30 days and holds nothing else. If you buy, those tags may be saved with your order so we know which link led to the sale. bmc_hold_session is set when you start checkout so we can hold your spot, and lasts 7 days. When you start checkout, we also keep a shortened, coded copy of your IP address with your held spot, to limit how many spots one person can hold at once. bmc_reclaim is set when you are in a bidding war so you can come back and respond, and lasts 7 days.
Your browser also stores a random ID so we can count unique visitors. Our server keeps only a coded copy of that ID, used to count each visitor once. Neither is tied to your name or email. Your draft placement and bidding details are kept in your browser for the open tab only.
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. Before the page you return to after paying is counted, its address is stripped of any Stripe payment IDs. We also keep a daily count of how many visitors reach each step of checkout, broken down by link source, medium, and campaign. Those counts are totals only, with no IP address or user ID. To limit abuse, the counter also keeps a scrambled version of your IP address. Once it is a minute old, it is deleted the next time the counter records a visit.
Payments are handled by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number. We do not sell your information or use it to track you on other sites.
